My Sense of Place
I am so lucky to live at Crescent Head on a beautiful bush block, where I am surrounded by natural beauty and a sense of awe for the native habitat, Aussie birds and animals. I aim to capture the beauty of the natural habitat through vibrant and expressive paintings, specialising in painting on silk.
I am inspired by the vibrant colours and fluidity of dye on silk. My work evokes a sense of place and emotion, drawing from the East Coast Beaches, my garden and the surrounding bush. I have also dabbled in oils for this exhibition. “I try to make the ordinary extraordinary.”
